Right Management’s latest report, Rescuing Stranded Careers: A Roadmap for Leaders to Drive Employee Growth, highlights a major gap in career support. It reveals that, while 69% of leaders believe they provide career development, only 27% of employees agree. This disconnect leaves employees uncertain about their future, leading to disengagement and turnover. 

The report explores how organisations can close this gap by investing in structured career pathways, internal mobility programs, and manager-led coaching. Employees who receive career guidance are twice as likely to have a clear career plan, which directly improves retention and engagement.
